Ed didn't get the job.
However, as I thought he now cannot face his present job.
So, the waiting game continues but now I am waiting for Ed to tell me exactly what is going on in his mind. He is away until tomorrow, then we can talk properly. I expect he will feel he cannot carry on and we will have to accept a change in our circumstances until he finds another job, whatever that might be.

Anna, I'm so sorry to hear that. I know this was something he really wanted, and facing the situation after the possibility is removed was something you were not looking forward to. I hope there's a solution that will work for you all. You're in my thoughts!
I'm totally doing this the wrong way. I somehow missed like 5 or 6 posts, and now I'm going back in time, in reverse chronological order, trying to find the last one I didn't miss.
It's all over the place. Some I've missed, some I seem to have skipped over. I'm a mess.
I already knew about this bad news because I've come from the future (of your blog). That sucks, of course.
