Lighten up

It's been all doom and gloom around here so here's a little exchange I had with Livi a couple of days ago.

I was cooking and she arrived silently at my side.

"Mummy? Did they have, you know, light swiches and electricity and stuff when you were a little girl?"

I was born in 1975!

Too funny! The way children view age, history, and the passage of time in general is fascinating - and giggle inducing. I'm glad the kids are keeping you laughing!

I remember getting our fist computer when I was 13. It was an Amstrad and we had to load games using cassette tapes. When you turned off the computer you lost the game and next time you had to start again.

Melissa, I remember asking my mum what it was like in the old days when she was a child, so I guess this is karma!!
